Hi, I'm Jess — the accountant behind Lakefront Bookkeeping!

I started Lakefront Bookkeeping with a simple goal: to help small business owners feel more confident and less overwhelmed when it comes to their finances.

I know running a business means wearing a lot of hats, and bookkeeping is typically the one nobody wants to wear. My job is to take some of that weight off your shoulders by keeping your books organized, helping you understand your numbers, and giving you reliable financial information you can actually use to make decisions.

Based in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Lakefront Bookkeeping was inspired by the shores of Lake Michigan and my love for the community I call home. While I'm proud to support fellow local businesses, I also work with business owners virtually who are looking for a bookkeeping relationship that's personal, approachable, and dependable.

To me, great bookkeeping is about more than numbers. It's about building relationships, answering questions without making you feel like you should already know the answer, and becoming someone you can rely on as your business grows.
